I know you’re an Austin-based photographer, but are you willing to travel for photoshoots?

I’m happy to shoot in the areas adjacent to Austin, including Dripping Springs, Buda, Bastrop and Cedar Park. Please contact me to discuss your location.

How can I find out your availability?

I typically shoot on weekends and process photos during the week. For my availability, please contact me directly through the contact form on this site.

What’s the best way to get in touch with you?

Please use the contact form.

In what format will I receive my photos?

Your photos will be provided as full-resolution digital files on a website and you can download, print and share them wherever you wish.

Can I also get prints of my photos?

I don’t offer prints as a standard service, but I can offer recommendations on where to print your photos or provide a quote on special print project through one of my preferred vendors.

How long will I have to wait to receive my photos?

For wedding pictures, there's usually a waiting time of between 6-8 weeks to allow for the completion of all editing work. For portrait shoots, up to 2 weeks.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SHOOT

Should I bring any props along to the shoot?

You're welcome to do so if you want to—I especially recommend bringing blankets that match your wardrobe’s color scheme to outdoor family photo or children’s shoots. Props can also liven things up during a children’s photography shoot. For example, some props that have worked well in the past include dress-up wear, colorful umbrellas, bubbles, balloons, etc.

What should I wear to the shoot?

For family portrait photography, I recommend choosing 3 or 4 coordinating colors. In general, use your best judgement as to what looks most flattering on you. People with yellow undertones look best in warm, earthy colors, while people with pink undertones look best in cool shades such as blues and purples. If you look better in ivory than you do in white, you have a warm skin tone.

What should I not wear to the shoot?

It's always better to avoid all the people in a photograph wearing the same color, as this just makes everyone blend together as one. Also, bear in mind that horizontal stripes, baggy clothes and loud patterns can make a person appear larger. This may or may not be the effect you want.

Is there anything else I shouldn’t do before my shoot?

When it comes to your beauty regimen, don’t do anything that you’ve never done before, such as applying a spray tan or eyelash extensions.

PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES

What types of photography do you do? Can you shoot absolutely everything?

Different styles of photography require different talents, skills and technical know-how. My strengths lie in taking natural, outdoor portrait photographs. For this reason I offer family and children’s portraits, wedding photos, senior photos and business headshots.

Do you shoot indoors and outdoors?

You can’t beat natural light, so I prefer shooting outside, but I will also shoot inside.

Do you photograph newborns?

Unfortunately, no.  Newborn photography is a very specialized genre with its own unique set of complications and requirements. I prefer to concentrate my skills in other areas. However, I adore kids and am happy to do a shoot with your child as soon as they are old enough to sit up.
